Another day, another segment of Artprize!

Here’s a unique idea–construct a coffin from cigarettes and cigars and change the spelling! I also thought of the title sarcoughagus.

Corks. That’s the media used for this piece. Pretty ingenius, right?


The artist took large sections of metal and curled them. Each one was painted with bright stripes and perched on the cement railing of a stairway up to the museum.

Purple drops of glass

There were several colors of these glass stones–yellow, orange, red purple–laid out in a freeform design on the floor. Beautiful when the light shone on them.
